Barcoding & Labeling
Sierra DigiTally provides barcoding and labeling capabilities.
You can start barcoding and labeling your packs with Sierra DigiTally. Barcoding
and label printing capability is built into the
software. By simply adding printers, you can start labeling your packs.
Label printing feature is included in the Standard package (and all other packages) and it
does not cost extra; printers, however, are required.
It
is possible to print barcoded labels in the field from mobile printers and barcode
printers by connecting Sierra DigiTally Mobile device (via cable, or wireless
bluetooth). Sierra DigiTally is compatible with Zebra printers. Zebra ZM400
(seen on the right) can be connected to a desktop PC as well as a mobile device
for various applications.
Mobile printers and light-duty barcode printers normally print on paper-based media,
while industrial barcode printers can also print synthetic and more durable materials.

This 4 x 6 inch label format comes standard with Sierra DigiTally software-- You
don't have to design labels, it's already included without extra cost. Only
a compatible Zebra Barcode printer is needed. Labels can be customized to
include special data elements that may be specifically needed in your business.
